“Great coffee, nice snacks and ambiance too! Their seasonal flavors are fun and yummy, especially the Jasmine syrup which is subtle, but great with coffee! Their almond croissant is quite big, and pretty solid, but their drinks are truly where they shine!”
— Cameron“Unlike most coffee shops this shop is very open and loads of light, pretty quiet overall and very clean. The service is fantastic and the staff are really kind and friendly. The food and beverages are excellent and they make most syrups in house! This was my favorite spot so far to post up, do some work and enjoy their offerings. Highly recommend the Jasmine lemonade and lavender latte, as well as their breakfast sandwich!”
— Dorothy Ingram“I love trying out new cafes in pittsburgh, and this was on my list for a long time. I have to say I was extremely sceptic of the almost perfect rating that mechanic has received, but I have to now admit that it totally deserves it. Located in a quiet street in Shadyside, the cafe is spacious and extremely well with a lot of natural lighting. The decor is minimal, and there is plenty of seating indoors as well as some chairs on the outside. I had the iced vanilla latte, which was extremely delicious. With the right amount of syrup and sweetness. Both the barista is working were extremely sweet and welcoming. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty packed with almost everybody working from the cafe. my only complaint would be that it needs more power socket, specially since people mostly come here to work.”
— Suman Hazra“I came her a few weeks ago and got a large iced decaf mocha and the flavor reminded me of little amps coffee. I actually looked up the website to see if they used little amps, but it looks like they use their own. It's really good. To me it's like a smokey essence that not all coffees have and I appreciate. The large was a 16ounce priced about 6$. I'm used to a large being 20-24. 6$ is market value. i really like the minimalist, open space industrial setting, with white walls and black trim and large windows. It's nice to feel spacious. I hate feeling crowded. I came very early on a weekend when I was at the local Laundromat nearby. I was going to get a chocolate bar but I think the sign said 7$ so I passed, but it may have been a speciality bar. There were a lot of tables to sit, but I don't typically dine in so I chose walking around the neighborhood with my drink until my laundry was done. The ppl were really nice. It was a guy and a girl working. Nice plants.”
